Recently it was my turn to host the Papertrey Peeps Challenge. I needed to come up with a challenge for us and I decided on FALL! I absolutely LOVE fall! The crispness in the air, the leaves turning color, the crunch of leaves on the ground, Jack Frost nipping at your nose, the promise of cooler weather, hot apple cider, soups and more. So, I asked my fellow peeps to use my picture as a inspiration - whether it was for the colors or for leaves. Anything that inspired them to think about Fall! Here is my contribution to the challenge...
I die cut the leaves and then stamped them with Plum Pudding, Orange Zest, Terra Cotta and Summer Sunrise. Just randomly applying the ink to the stamp to get a varigated color. I added the veins in Chocolate ink and then spritzed and misted with 3 or 4 different Tattered Angels glimmer mists. I stamped Fancy Flourishes in Vintage Cream ink on the Plum Pudding cardstock followed by BG Basics: Textstyle in Versamark. I added the sentiment in True Black to one of my leaves and then adhered them to the Plum panel. Finally I threaded my buttons and added them.
