I have been stamping and crafting my heart out. I am hoping to have a display at our local craft center and needed to get plenty of cards ready for it. I am not ready yet but I am closer than I was. I have had a lot of fun but hope to get more done. Right now I am also currently working on a custom order of Valentine cards for a friend's daughter. I will post photos of those later (loving how they are turning out though) Here are a few of the things I have created. These cards were inspired by the tags I saw on Dawn McVey's website here
They are not a complete copy, I started by making the tag using my spellbinders labels and then paper pieced the pattern on the tags. I also used the Turning a New Leaf stamp set in Spring Moss. I like how they turned out and will be making some more like these but with other color combinations
I can't remember where I saw the pocket cards but it was such a cute idea that I CASEd this as well ~ again using multiple colors and a variety of stamp sets for the sentiments (though only one color is shown) I also used Papertrey Ink patterned paper for these cards.
These next two photos show cards inspired by Dawn McVey again - only this time it is the card on the cover here
I am loving these cards because I hadn't really used my Damask Designs stamp set, yet. This was a wondeful opportunity to do just that. I also liked the different colors I chose when recreating something similar to Dawn's card. I did use the same base stamp sets but chose different colors and different embellies so they weren't a total copy. And, in case you were wondering, I have been challenging myself to try and create 4 cards at a time. One for my private stash, 2 for my Art Center display and one for my Etsy store. Not sure if that is how it will all play out but I am at least trying to build up my stash.
These last two photos showcase cards I made using Friend's Til the End paper from Papertrey Ink and various stamp sets, inks etc all from PTI.
So...what do you think? Please leave a comment and let me know.

You certainly have been a busy bee, and what beautiful creations you have to show for it!! I have recently gotten into the habit of making 4 cards at a time. All the same except the sentiment, sure does help build up my stash that way.

Oh Wow! How can we leave a comment on so much yumminess all in one go?? Everything is absolutely beautiful! I love your colour and pattern mixes and compositions - it's all truly gorgeous! (If you don't mind the question - what die did you use for the tags? I was also trying to case Dawn's tags and hoping I could find a Spellbinders equivalent!)
Angie - thank you so much for the advice on how to do the tags! I DO understand what you were saying - but I reckon a tutorial on your blog would be *fabulous*! What a creative way to do it! I'm really grateful for you sharing your trick - thank you!!
tes créations sont géniales, fabuleuses, un grand bravo à toi
Good luck with the display, hope it goes well for you@ Those tags look great! Like Nerina said, hard to leave just one comment for all that PTI loveliness.
WOW! So many beautiful creations! I honestly can't pick one favorite--I love them all. I'm so glad you're one of the peeps.
These are lovely. I think the damask are my favorite. It's really nest to see it sideways and with the bow at top! I'm going to try that with some other patterns.
Thank YOU!! I have the Big and Bold Wishes set as well. I fought it for hours the other day and it won. I can't wait to borrow some of these ideas. I bet these fly out the door.
Nice job on all of them! I especially like the ones made with the Damask set. I bet you sell a lot of them. I also wanted to stop by and say that I am glad you are part of the Papertrey Peeps group. I look forward to seeing more of your work and getting to know you better too.
