CARDS Challenge - Berries

So I came across this challenge at the CARDS blog. You have to scroll down through last weeks challenge entries to get to what this week's challenge is about. Berries...specifically strawberries but any project involving berries works.

So taking a little inspiration from Betsy Veldman and Melissa Phillips, I came up with these two beauties. A little out of my box but I think I will be trying again. Neither of these is a good imitation of those two SUPER stars of stamping/crafting but I do so love looking at their work.

Sorry for the bad photographs. I just couldn't get the lighting right - wrong time of day!

Totally lovin' the berries! I especially love the banner you've created on your first card; adds a lovely touch. Reminds of being at my granddad's farm making strawberry jam in summer!
