Going to the Chapel...

Last week I received a call from a young soldier. He was interested in having me make wedding invitations for him & his soon-to-be young bride. I met with them personally with a couple of examples of what I could do. Here are the samples I provided:

interior of gate fold
gate fold with belly band
debossed front with frame
postcard style invite.

Here is what they finally decided on:

What do you think?

Supplies used:
Papertrey Ink (unless otherwise noted)
Stamper's Select White cardstock
Fancy Flourishes stamped with glue pad and sprinkled with Prisma glitter
(stamped in Smokey Shadow on interior of card)
Mat Stack #1 die stamped with frame and sentiment from Round & Round anniversary set embossed with SU! silver embossing powder
Belly brand created with SU! silver cardstock
Vellum paper from SU! tied with Basic Gray taffeta ribbon from SU!

O-o-o-o Angy, it's beautiful. They were all lovely, but I can see why they picked that one. I hope you get many more commissions.

Those are beautiful!! I really like what they decided on! I'm making wedding invites for my brother and we're doing flourishes on the front with a band also! Great minds think alike! :)

These are all lovely Angy - but I can completely understand their choice - the white is so beautiful with the sparkling flourish - so elegant! Congratulations on having a commission - I hope you enjoy crafting for it - and that others follow for you soon!

What a gorgeous wedding invitation you have designed. Just beautiful with the gate fold and flourish embossing and glitter. And I love the font you used to print the invite with.
